About Blue Diamond Retreat: a secluded sanctuary located on the edge of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Set within 5 hectares of lush forest and surrounded by a turquoise blue river and majestic karst mountains, the retreat offers a peaceful escape in a hidden valley with 20 jungle bungalows or 6 eco-friendly houses.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Deputy Operation Manager with a passion for hospitality and sustainable tourism. You will support the Retreat Manager in overseeing the overall operations of Blue Diamond Retreat, ensuring effective coordination across all departments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the Retreat’s operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Carry out daily tasks directly under the Retreat Manager’s instruction and coordinate with internal teams (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, Maintenance) to keep operations running smoothly.
- Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for guests, gathering feedback and quickly resolving any on-site issues or complaints to ensure a great stay.
- Activity Execution: Lead and run on-site guest activities and trekking tours following assigned plans and safety guidelines.
- Shift Supervision: Guide and monitor full-time and part-time staff during shifts to maintain service quality, proper procedures, and good hospitality.
- Daily Reporting: Track guest satisfaction, note any operational issues, and report directly to the Retreat Manager.
- Reports to: Retreat Manager.
Job Requirements
- Operations & Logistics: Good at organizing and coordinating daily resort tasks and guest activities.
- Soft Skills: Clear communication, quick problem-solving, and good leadership with shift staff.
- Language: Good English skills to communicate smoothly with international guests.
